On the male side, doctors are observing a rising demand for shared contraceptive responsibility within couples.
Among the available options, thermal contraception—still marginal—is gaining ground.
In the region, the aptly named startup 37 degrés stands out as one of the most compelling examples.

It all began in 2021. Gaëlle Burcklé, then a textile design student at Ensci-Les Ateliers in Paris, discovered thermal contraception.
As part of a study project, the young designer—also a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels—imagined a reversible, non-hormonal, and non-invasive contraceptive boxer.”
